Hey, I'm Amanda

Feel & Flow is my design studio, where I combine human-centered design, somatic principles and intentional aesthetics to create holistic websites for purpose-driven entrepreneurs.

Before becoming a web designer, I founded 2 small businesses. And whilst I loved that journey, the most interesting part for me designing the websites. That interest coupled with my background in Sociology led me to UX/UI design: a fancy sub-section of web-design that focuses on humans and accessibility.

Beyond design

I'm a herbalist, dance and student of somatics. Away from my desk, you can find me reading by the campfire, catching the sunset or spinning on a dancefloor. I spend my weekends tending to local plants and crafting organic skin care products.

What I bring to the table

Intersectional
outlook

I bring an ethos grounded in diversity, disability, and accessibility studies. This lens shapes how I understand and advocate for users. I approach research with an awareness of the many social, cultural and systemic contexts people navigate, ensuring my designs reflect real-world complexity.

Mixed methods
research

With a BA in Sociology and experience as a qualitative and quantitative research assistant, I’m skilled at working with large volumes of participants and data. I’m proficient with tools like SPSS and bring a rigorous, evidence-based approach to synthesizing insights that meaningfully guide product strategy and design.

Somatic
perspective

My background in somatics deepens my ability to read what users communicate beyond words, using body language, nervous system cues and embodied responses. This perspective strengthens my user empathy and design for digital experiences that support how people truly feel.

Outside of work, you’ll find me in the garden, formulating organic skin-care or floating in the lake.
